What is Corroding Status Effect?
Corroding status effect is a deadly force that slowly eats away at your enemies over time. It also creates pools of acidic liquid that can control an area, dealing additional damage to anyone who touches them. Sounds pretty badass, right? Well, it gets better. When you combine Corroding with Ash, Fire, or Magma magic, you’ll rank high on the Arcane Odyssey Tier List. And, it synergizes well with Glass, Plasma, Poison, and Explosion magic, giving you even more versatility in battle.
The Pros and Cons of Acid Magic
Like any magic, Acid Magic has its pros and cons. In terms of clashing power, Acid Magic has advantages, neutralities, and disadvantages against different types of magic. You’ll have the upper hand against Fire, Water, Sand, and Snow Magic with a clash advantage of 1.4x, 1.2x, 1.2x, and 1.2x, respectively. You’ll also have a 1.1x advantage against Lightning, Wood, and Poison Magic, and a 1.05x advantage against Ash Magic. However, you’ll be neutral against Ice, Magma, Light, Wind, Shadow, and Plasma Magic.
On the flip side
You’ll have clash disadvantages against Glass, Crystal, Explosion, Earth, and Metal Magic, with a disadvantage of 0.9x, 0.8x, 0.8x, 0.5x, and 0.45x, respectively. But don’t let that discourage you. With the power of Corroding, you’ll still be able to dish out damage and control the battlefield like a boss.
