Brotato has multiple characters and you can choose to survive waves of enemies. Each character has its own strengths and weaknesses that can be used to survive all 20 waves. They come with a variety of weapons and items that can mitigate some disadvantages or add more to your advantages.

All Brotato classes can knock back 20 waves of enemies, even at the highest threat level. Some classes are more powerful than others, while others require a deeper understanding of the game in order to show their talents. While every player will have their favorite brotatos, some are easier to use than others.

Brotato Class Tier List – S Tier

  • Well-Rounded
  • Brawler
  • Ranger
  • Ghost
  • One-Armed
  • Knight

These brotatos were chosen because their lessons are easy to understand and get used to. Well-Rounded has no downsides and is a standard brotato. Brawler and Ranger will help you get used to melee and ranged weapons respectively.

Ghost and Knight emphasize Dodge and Armor attributes that will help you adapt your defense choices while benefiting from both. One-armed will only give you one weapon to play with, but it may prove to be all you need and help you explore the use of items.

A Tier

  • Crazy
  • Multitasker
  • Doctor
  • Bull

These brotatos are easy to use, but you need to know how to use them effectively. Madness requires you to think about lethal damage and take down your foes quickly, relying on precise power bonuses. Multitasker is great for using 12 or more weapons, but you need to know how to use multiple weapons or make up for the 72% damage loss from using that many weapons.

The Doctor will help you get used to the vampire attribute and how to restore damage, but you need to understand your medical weapon and how vampire works. Bull requires you to deal explosive damage by hitting an enemy, and you need to know how to prepare for healing/mitigation before bull is successful.

B Tier

  • Old
  • Lucky
  • Mutant
  • Generalist
  • Loud
  • Gladiator
  • Speedy
  • Engineer

B-Tier brotatos are still good, but need more familiarity to get the most out of them. Old and Luck will help you get used to enemy speed/harvest stats and luck stats, but they are not aggressive and can be confusing at first. Mutants have a great experience gain, but you may struggle to make up for it with increased prizes.

Generalist can help you balance melee and ranged weapons, but focusing on both types of damage can confuse players on both sides. Loud has to deal with more enemies, while Gladiator encourages the use of other melee weapons. Speedy is great for players who can sprint around the battlefield, while Engineers rely on the Engineering attribute, an often overlooked attribute for many Brotatos.

C Tier

  • Chunky
  • Wildling
  • Sick
  • Pacifist
  • Explorer
  • Masochist
  • Demon

All C-level brotatos are fine to use, but they usually require major adjustments to your usual strategy to avoid premature failure. Chunky requires you to understand that you need to invest in damage and speed, otherwise Chunky won’t be able to catch up on the waves that follow. Wildling focuses on using clubs to make up for his lack of tier II weapons and uses life stealing. Being sick requires focusing on lifesteal and/or attrition healing to stay alive.

Pacifist requires you to use your Harvesting stats to level up and keep enemies alive. Explorers will rely on having a large number of trees for their privilege. Masochism requires you to build a durable brotato that can fight after taking damage. Demons are effective, but you need to manage your maximum HP spend/investment gain on items before running out of HP.

D Tier

  • Mage
  • Farmer
  • Saver
  • Entrepreneur
  • Soldier

D-rank Brotatos are still useful, but difficult to use effectively. The mage requires you to deal with elemental damage, such as burning. It can be hard to get used to early on, especially if you’re unlucky with elemental weapons. Farmer need to harvest to be successful, and you have to hope you survive while it builds. With Saver, you have to save materials to gain power, and finding the right balance between spending and saving isn’t easy.

Entrepreneur, you have to deal with losing all your money and spending all your materials every round so as not to waste it. Soldiers can’t move at all (unless you tap the move key), but not moving will cost you the boss fight.

Any brotato can be successful, but some people will find the path harder than others. With these leaderboards, you can decide which brotato can help you learn the game, then go through the list to master each lesson.
