With two hits under its wing, the Epic Games Store’s daily Christmas promotion now offers a charming, indie freebie game by Borealys Games. For 24 hours after its publication, the Mages of Mystralia is at your disposal as the eleventh gift. It replaces the Control from yesterday.
The title is an adventure action game that uses a spell creation system that allows you to use user-designed magical powers while fighting enemies, defeating bosses and solving puzzles. The story was written by Ed Greenwood, creator of the Dungeons and Dragons’ Forgotten Realms fantasy world.
Here’s how the store page describes this setting:
Your path will not be easy. In Mages of Mystralia, you play as Zia, a young girl who discovers that she was born with an innate sense of magic. Unfortunately, magic has been banned, so he sets out to train on his own to take control of his powers.
During his journey, he meets other exiled mages, discovers runes with magical properties, and realizes that he can combine these runes in millions of different ways to come up with completely new spells.
While not on sale, the Mages of Mystralia is $ 19.99. Here are the minimum requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 7 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 2300 or equivalent
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 560 Ti or equivalent
- DirectX: Version 11
- Memory: 8 GB available space
The Mages of Mystralia will be available until tomorrow, December 28 11:00 ET. Another mystery game will appear during this time. Also, don’t forget the $ 10 coupons and holiday sale deals in the store.
