McGeady Spin FIFA 23 Controls – Xbox, PlayStation & PC – We explain how to do the most popular skill move in the EA Sports game on any console or PC

If you’re looking through the game’s skill moves and you can’t find the McGeady Spin, it’s because it’s popularly known that way, but in EA Sports menus it comes as Turn & Spin Left or Turn & Spin Right. That is, the McGeady Spin can be done in both directions.

McGeady Spin FIFA 23 Controls – Requirements and Tips

Your player will need four star skills to accomplish the maneuver, while players with five star skills will do a slightly modified version that is faster and smoother. The four-star variation is one circular movement, but the five-star form is two fast flicks.

To do the McGeady spin, just hold L2/LT and move the analogue stick first in the direction your player is looking, then 90 degrees either left or right.

It’s not the kind of talent you want to use in a congested box, or when there are a lot of people waiting to pounce on your ending position. Instead, it is the sort of skill move that works best in a running combat against a defender who is on your side, rather than immediately confronting you. Consider sprinting along the byline or on the box’s edge. Using it in these instances nearly guarantees success if you aren’t too predictable, leaving the player in the dust behind you.
