Pokemon Go Developer Diary

Niantic has released the June Developer Diary. In the article Mikey (Pokemon GO product manager or product manager of social features in Pokémon GO) explains how Campfire works and Niantic’s intentions with it.

The article is extensive but we summarize it in the best possible way in the following points

New features for trainers with Campfire
Mikey: direct from Pokemon Go products, a brief explanation of who he is and what he does
Campfire and the local community: the idea is that this application helps users find each other to make raids (among other things)
Coordination: not only for incursions, but also for other interesting data that the application will bring, such as interactive elements (unspecified for now)
The application brings: improve the collaborative factor of the Pokémon GO experience, the Trainers can share the locations, the option to add a signal in a
location and more future.
