How Skirmishes Work in Fire Emblem Engage – In this post we detail how skirmishes work in FE Engage. Don’t miss it!

In Fire Emblem Engage, there are Skirmish battles in addition to the standard chapter tasks and Paralogue activities. As the game progresses, these battles will occasionally show up on the map. You and your group can level up and acquire important resources by taking advantage of these helpful opportunities. However, the mechanics of these battles are not entirely evident in the game. What you need to know about Fire Emblem Engage’s skirmish system is provided below.

How Skirmishes Work in Fire Emblem Engage

We can’t stress to gamers how highly we recommend these encounters. A pixel character will stand over each Skirmish when it first appears on the map, giving you an idea of the kind of foes you will face when you start this battle. You might want to get your group ready to take out these particular adversaries based on the insignia. For instance, in one Skirmish, a player with a flying pegasus represented the enemy. When the combat began, the enemies were mainly pegasus knights, but our archers quickly dispatched them.

We advise going back to Somniel to confirm the Donation level of a specific country before beginning a Skirmish. Your Donation level with that nation determines the benefits you get for winning a combat like this. Don’t feel as though you can’t participate in a Skirmish because your donation level isn’t high enough because you can earn more rewards by having a higher donation level, but these are expensive investments.

It’s also vital to remember that these battles are not permanently recorded on the map. They will eventually disappear as you progress through the narrative or win additional fights in Fire Emblem Engage. Other Skirmishes take their place, though, and they might be more advantageous to you and your party.
