Best M16 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2 –  The classic M16 assault rifle is available in Modern Warfare 2, with all the attachments, perks, and gear you can use to craft the best gear for it in multiplayer.

How to unlock the M16 in MW2?

Before getting the M16 in Modern Warfare 2, you’ll need to upgrade your 556 Icarus LMG to level 14 and choose a weapon from the receiver platform in the new Gunsmith system.

After doing this, the weapon will be available in your inventory. You can still unlock new weapons by upgrading the weapon platform, which is the base weapon that players can use to unlock new receivers.

We started the Modern Warfare 2 loadout with a Forge-Tac Castle Comp muzzle and Sakin ZX grip to help control the M16’s recoil. You can use the VX Pineapple Vert Grip to improve hip firing accuracy and firing control.

The Demo Fade Pro Stick increases maneuverability by increasing aiming speed and weapon sprint speed.

In the end, we opted for the Cronen Mini Red Dot optic for accurate kills in mid-range combat.

• Ultimate Perk: Fast Hands
• Lethal Equipment: Semtex
• Tactical Equipment: Stun Grenade
• Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

We chose Bomb Squad and Double Time as our base perks to reduce damage from explosives and let you sprint around the map for longer.

Quick Fix restores health immediately after each kill, while Fast Hands Ultimate Perk increases your reload speed. As for our gear choices, we recommend surprising your opponents with stun grenades and the Dead Silence, as well as using Semtex to deal damage to multiple targets at once.
