Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon Unlock Characters – Full List

There are 12 characters that you can unlock by defeating bosses and using the portals

  • Shovel Knight: Available from the start
  • King Knight: Reward for defeating King Knight ( Location = Lich Yard)
  • Plague Knight: Reward for defeating Plague Knight ( Location = Lich Yard)
  • Specter Knight: Reward for defeating Specter Knight ( Location = Lich Yard)
  • Treasure Knight: Reward for defeating Treasure Knight ( Location = Chromatic Caverns)
  • Mole Knight: Reward for defeating Mole Knight ( Location = Chromatic Caverns)
  • Tinker Knight: Reward for defeating Tinker Knight ( Location = Chromatic Caverns)
  • Scrap Knight: Reward for defeating Scrap Knight ( Location = Chromatic Caverns)
  • Prism Knight: Reward for defeating Prism Knight ( Location = Flying Machine)
  • Propeller Knight: Reward for defeating Propeller Knight ( Location = Flying Machine)

About the Characters

  • Shovel Knight: The starting character. His fatal blows do extra damage to chains. He finds more potions inside a dungeon.
  • Prism Knight: Prepare to be Dazzled: A newcomer character. She can either swap nearby foes or teleport a short distance.
  • Scrap Knight: Scrounge and Scavenge: A newcomer character. She can bag obstacles, treasure chests, items, and enemies and reposition them wherever she pleases.
  • Shield Knight: She gains a barrier after chaining. She can survive 1 fatal blow per level. She also has reduced Max HP.
  • Black Knight: Spends Gem Meter to enhance his attack power. It diminishes when he drinks a potion. He has extra reduced Max HP.
  • King Knight: Gold and Glory: Can perform an extra bash attack. It hits harder based on distance, but he’ll take 1 more damage.
  • Specter Knight: From the Shadows: Slain enemies makes him recover 2 HP for each. Drinking potions inflicts harm to him.
  • Plague Knight: Time for Research: He poisons his foes with attacks and any bombs found. He has reduced Max HP.
  • Treasure Knight: Everything has a price: He inflicts more damage when striking foes from below.
  • Mole Knight: Toil and Trouble: He can burrow and swap positions with enemies, blocks and potions.
  • Tinker Knight: Time for Tools: He can gather metal, then build a mini-mech. The Mech increases Tinker Knight’s health and attack power until it explodes when the metal is depleted. While mech-less, Tinker Knight has extra reduced HP.
  • Propeller Knight: The Spin Controller: He increases his attack of +1 for each lone enemy defeated. Chains resets his attack and deals him 1 more damage.
  • Polar Knight: Power Overwhelming: His fatal blows freeze chains. He deals 1 more damage to frozen foes
