Now that the expiration for Disney’s Steamboat Willie has come at the start of 2024, the flood gates have opened to the newly open IP. One of these that have come out of the woodwork is an First Person horror game called Captain Willie. Created by Buggata, you follow the story of a deckhand in Captain Willie’s maritime crew. This will be your guide so just sit back and relax, but always keep the light on!. This is the Captain Willie Complete Walkthrough Guide.
Day 1
You start off in your room. Head out of the door and into the hallway. At the end of the hallway by your left is an oddly recognizable character; its Captain Willie. Go over to him and he will ask you to wash the deck.
Wash the Deck
head down the hallway and go outside. Turn left and into the walkway at the side of the boat. Head towards the other end of the ship, directly underneath Captain Willie, where you will find a brush and a bucket. Clean up and brush all the footprints spread out across the floor of the boat.
Chop some Potatoes
After you have cleaned the deck, head back again to Captain Willie and he will tell you to chop some potatoes. The Potato room is located just across your room. Go to the Potato room and click on the potatoes stacked inside a wooden frame.
Feed the Fire
Once your potato bucket is filled, go back to Captain Willie. The captain will then instruct you to feed more coal to the fire. Move to the room just left as you go down the hallway and grab the shovel leaning inside the room by the door. Click the coals in the stack and point and click to the furnace on the other end of the room. Do this about five times then head back to Captain Willie.
Head back to your room and click on your bed. That is the end of Day 1 with Captain Willie.
Day 2
After you’ve woken up, head to Captain Willie. He will tell you the deck is looking dirty.
Wash the Deck
Same as the first day, go around the boat and find all the footprints laid out on the floor. Just click on each one of them to remove their presence. Once done, go back to the captain.
Chop some Potatoes
It’s potato chopping time once again, head back to the potato room and start chopping. Once you filled the bucket, a weird surprise is waiting for you in the hallway. It’s Captain Willie! He had finally moved from his spot.
Take the Wheel
Captain Willie asks you to take the wheel for a second. Go to the top of the hallway and click on the helm of th ship. A few moments will go by and the captain will sneakily be behind your back.
Feed the Fire
He will ask you to feed the furnace. Get back into shoveling coal then go to your room and sleep.
Day 3
Wash the Deck
This day will be a bit different. Once you finished cleaning the floor and get back to Captain Willie, he will then tell you that there you have run out of potatoes.
Under the Deck
Head to the front of the deck, where you place your cleaning brush and click on the candle resting on top of a barrel. Beside the barrel will be a hatch that will lead to the bottom of the deck.
Explore the bottom of the deck then grab the sack with the letter P on it. Head back and drop it in the potato room.
Chop some Potatoes
Go back to Captain Willie and he will say that you should not go down the deck too often. Continue on with your duties and chop the potatoes to the bucket.
Feed the Fire
You need more coal, said Captain Willie. Head back down under the deck to get the sack marked C. Carry the sack to the furnace room and shovel a couple of coals before going to sleep.
Night Time
You wake up in the middle of the night with a candle sitting by the corner of your room. Grab the candle and head outside and head towards the bottom of the deck. Under the deck, you will see Captain Willie, standing in front of a lantern, surrounded in darkness. Click on the captain and he will tell you to go back to sleep. Go to your room and sleep.
Day 4
Wash the Deck
Before your cleaning duties, Captain Willie will tell you that he is some bad news. Apparently he is a bit lost, but you don’t need to worry. Go back and finish up cleaning the deck.
Chop some Potatoes
There are no more potatoes in the potato room. The captain inform you that you have to go back under the deck and get the ‘P’ sack so you can bring it to the potato room. Chop the potatoes again.
No Shoveling?
Captain tells you he had already fed the furnace. Go back to your room and sleep.
Day 9
Wash the Deck
Captain Willie informs you that both of you are hopelessly lost, but you will still need to wash the deck. Finish up and continue your daily chores.
No More Potatoes
You ran out of potatoes again and will need to get another sack. Head back down the deck and you will notice that there are no more potato sacks. Go back to Captain Willie to inform him of the situation.
Feed the Fire
The captain will instruct you to feed the fire so it doesn’t have to starve. Shovel some coal to the furnace and go to sleep afterwards.
Day 18
It will be night time so grab the candle by the door. As soon as you open your door, you are greeted by the creepy Captain Willie standing in front of your room. He will ask you to take the helm Go up the helm and stay there for a while. Captain Willie will come back and tell you to go rest again.
Day 19
Wash the Deck
The captain seems a bit odd today. Clean the boat’s deck and head back to Captain Willie when you’re done.
Feed the Fire
The captain will inform you again that you have ran out of potatoes so you only need to feed the furnace. Shovel in some coal then get back to the captain. He will tell you to rest for the day.
Day 20
Its night. You hear some banging outside your door. Grab the candle and go investigate under the deck. It seems that the captain had started to go insane and has given you a 3 second head start before he gets you.
Escaping Captain Willie
You will need the key in front of the lantern, located under the deck. Run and hide around for a bit in the top of the deck and lure the captain. As soon as the captain is topside, head down below the deck and grab the key. Hide behind the crates when the captain is near then sprint towards the ladder going above the hatch. Head towards the front of the cabin where a lever is waiting for you to pull. Jump down the boat to escape Captain Willie.
