Cultivation Card Game lovers, rejoice as Yi Xian has dropped another update for its fans. The update contains quite a few balance adjustments as well as bug fixes. Check out the patch notes of the latest update of Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game.

Yi Xian Patch Notes

Balance Adjustments

1. Cloud Sword – Step Lightly (Duan Xuan Sect, Incarnation Phase): 2 ATK → 3 ATK
2. Realm-Killing Palms (Duan Xuan Sect, Incarnation Phase): 2/4/6 ATK → 3/4/5 ATK
3. Clear Heart Sword Embryo (Lu Jianxin, Initial Immortal Fate): 6 ATK → 7 ATK
4. Crash Fist – Shocked (Duan Xuan Sect, Incarnation Phase): …1 more ATK for each 4 HP you have lost → …1 more ATK for each 5 HP you have lost
5. Overwhelming Power (Tu Kui, Foundation Phase): HP cost 4 → 2; Force +3/4/5 → 2/3/4

Dev Notes Regarding Balance Adjustments

1 and 2. The cards Realm-Killing Palms (Lv1) and Cloud Sword – Step Lightly have lower win rates before the deck is fully built, as well as lower usage rates during the Incarnation Phase. Thus, changes have been made to them.

3. During the life shop season, Lu Jianxin’s average ranking, top-four percentage, and winning percentage all fell from the mid-range of all characters to the lowest. The season mechanics and meta could have a big impact on this. Consequently, to boost overall performance, we’re improving the Initial Immortal Fate.

4. Due to its relationship with Guard Up and the meta, Crash Fist – Shocked has an average win rate among Incarnation cards despite having a high usage rate. That’s why we were cautious in our previous adjustments. Players continue to complain, though, that Crash Fist – Shocked is too universal and basic, which results in a stagnant meta and makes it too vulnerable to counters, which hinders the overall gameplay experience. As a result, we’re trying to make Crash Fist – Shocked less effective and keeping an eye on the meta.

5. Following the most recent change to Overwhelming Power, Tu Kui’s overall average ranking has returned to the middle of the pack. We keep hearing from players that the character is too strong in the Foundation Phase, which makes the game less enjoyable for them. As a result, we’re still making adjustments and keeping an eye on Overwhelming Power.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved a bug that could have caused card upgrade errors if Bloodline Potential and Scroll of Enlightenment were activated simultaneously.
• Resolved a bug that occasionally caused the card style during Recap to display strangely (this fix is only applicable to newly updated records).
• Resolved a problem where Plant Master’s variation card style would appear strangely when in combat.
• Resolved a problem where the deletion of an account would result in an incorrect Friend Request list.
