As you look around the Exclusion Zone, you may come across villages with different kinds of NPCs, like traders and techs.
If you want to move quickly, you need to find guide NPCs, which have an icon that looks like a crosshair or star.

Talk to a guide NPC in a village to move quickly through Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It will be possible to go to other sites right away as long as you’ve met the guide NPCs there.
But this service isn’t free; you have to pay with coupons, which are the world’s favorite money. The cost goes up the farther away the location is.

Can you lose access to fast travel?
No, it is true that you can lose access to fast travel in some places. Some things that happen in the campaign cause this to happen. look at these examples:
- A certain place is attacked, and you learn that you need to kill the guide NPC.
- Troops are attacking another place. The NPCs go away for a while and then come back later. You know, though, that the doors are locked, so you won’t be able to leave the building.
- When this happens, you can quickly get to these places because you’ve already met the guide NPCs. However, you won’t be able to fast move from them because of a bug.
What are the costs of fast travel in Stalker 2?
Different guides will charge different amounts, anywhere from 500 to 4000 or more. The price goes up as you travel farther.
It will cost a lot more to get from Zaton to Yaniv than to jump from Zalissya to the Slag Heap.
But if you’re willing to pay, you’ll be whisked away right away to where the Guide is at your final payment.
