Where to Find Coins in Blue Prince

Coins are scattered across the mansion. Some rooms always have them, making them good targets to draft early:
-
Storeroom – 1 Coin
-
Pantry – 4 Coins
-
Rumpus Room – 8 Coins
-
Vault – 40 Coins
You can also:
-
Dig up dirt piles for hidden coins.
-
Use a Metal Detector — it spawns extra Coins and Keys in random rooms.
-
Equip the Coin Purse — for every three you find, you get an extra Coin.
These methods stack up fast if you plan your route carefully.
How to Get Permanent Coins

There’s a way to earn guaranteed Coins every day — even before you start exploring.
Use Allowance Tokens
Each Allowance Token gives you +2 Coins at the start of the day. This adds up over time and helps with expensive room costs later in the game.
Look for Allowance Tokens in:
-
Tomb
-
Cloister
-
Trading Post
-
Vault
You can also unlock more Allowance through experiments in the Laboratory once it becomes available.
Once you own an Allowance Token, you’ll find a Coin envelope waiting on the table in the Entrance Hall at the start of each day.
Quick Tips to Farm Coins Faster
-
Prioritize high-value rooms like the Vault.
-
Use the Metal Detector when you can — it pays off.
-
Stack Coin Purses for extra bonuses.
-
Plan routes that hit known coin-rich locations first.
-
Experiment in the Laboratory for long-term gains.
Coins might not be the main currency in Blue Prince, but without them, you’ll hit a wall fast. Use these tips to build a strong economy early.
