If you’re looking to start strong in Persona 5 The Phantom X, rerolling is the best way to get powerful characters from the start.

This guide explains how rerolling works, how to do it fast on both PC and mobile, and which Phantom Thieves are worth chasing.

How to Reroll in Persona 5 The Phantom X

Rerolling in P5X means restarting your account until you get the 5-star characters you want from the gacha system. Here’s how to do it:

Start With a Guest Account

Persona 5 The Phantom X Delete Account Option

  • Launch the game and log in as a guest.

  • If you’re not on a guest account, tap “User” on the top right of the title screen and switch to a guest login.

Play Until You Unlock Contracts

  • You’ll need to play through the intro and early battles (around 30–45 minutes).

  • Skip cutscenes to speed things up.

  • Once you unlock the Contracts menu, you can start pulling characters.

Claim All Rewards

  • Check your mailbox and events tab for pre-registration rewards, bonus Meta Jewels, and pull tickets.

  • These will give you enough to make your first few pulls.

Pull on the Banners

  • Use your Meta Jewels and tickets on the limited or beginner banners.

  • If you’re lucky, you’ll get a 5-star Phantom Thief early.

Keep or Reroll

  • If you’re happy with your pull, bind your account via Google or another service.

  • If not, return to the title screen, go to the “User” section, and delete your guest account.

  • Repeat the process until you get the unit you want.

Best Characters to Reroll for in Persona 5 The Phantom X

Persona 5 The Phantom X

Joker (Limited Banner)

  • Type: Curse DPS

  • Why reroll for him: Joker is one of the strongest single-target damage dealers in the game. If he’s on the featured banner, he’s your top reroll target.

Panther (Ann Takamaki)

  • Type: Fire Support/DPS

  • You can claim Panther for free after 50 pulls, but rerolling her early allows you to unlock Awareness Level 1, giving a 25% attack boost to your team.

  • She also works well with Lufel and Kurotani, both easily available.

Any Other 5-Star Phantom Thief

  • If you pull any 5-star Phantom Thief early, it’s still a solid start — especially if you’re not targeting a specific team setup.

  • The rates are low, so getting any 5-star on your first set of pulls can save you a lot of time.

Tips for Faster Rerolling

  • Use multiple devices or emulators to reroll in parallel.

  • Skip all cutscenes to cut down reroll time to around 30 minutes.

  • Focus only on unlocking the Contracts menu and claiming rewards.

Rerolling in Persona 5 The Phantom X takes time, but it’s worth it if you want to start with top-tier Phantom Thieves like Joker or Panther.
