Contents
One of the many things that are hidden in Dark Souls 3 is how to save and quit the game, how to quit without losing your progress. And the first time it happens to you, when you’ve been playing for hours, it can be frustrating, because the last thing you want is to lose your progress. But don’t worry, you’ve come this far and we’re going to explain everything you need to know.
How to Save and Quit Dark Souls 3 – Solution
Press Start, Menu, or Escape if you are on PS4, Xbox One, or PC respectively. Go to the far right option, which is labeled System. Then go to the far right option again. It will show you details of your character and game. At the bottom is the option to Save and Quite the game
Of course you must save and exit the game after resting at a bonfire. So that when you want to pick up where you left off you start right there. Otherwise you will spawn at the last bonfire you rested on
This is the only way to leave the game from the main menu, which you will access after selecting Save and Quit the game. Once there click on Quit the Game. You can also turn off directly (on PC you can always Alt-F4 out of the game), your game is already saved, but we do not recommend it.
