Vroid Studio Hair Presets – Free & Import Guide – the largest hair presets database, with tons of free options, and how to import hair presets

Vroid Studio Hair Presets – Free

Booth is the largest database of presets for Vroid and you can find hundreds of free options, as you can see in the following link

https://booth.pm/ja/search/vroid%20preset?max_price=0

In the menu on the left you can modify the search. We have set the maximum price to be zero yen (the page is Japanese), but if you want to spend money and see more presets, you just have to increase the price

We also recommend that you use the filter above on the right, although by default they are ordered by popularity

Vroid Studio Hair Presets – Import Guide

These are the steps to import any hair preset to Vroid Studio

  1. Download any of the presets from Booth and extract the folder
  2. Open the extracted folder and there should be one or two items, the preset’s folder and sometimes also an explanatory folder. The preset’s folder should be a fine named presetxx (where xx is a number) If you already have some presets change the number (rename) of the preset folder if it matches one you already have
  3. Open the preset folder and make sure there are only two elements inside the preset’s folder = Materials folder & .json file, if there is anything else, it won’t work
  4. Drag preset’s folder to your Vrod Studio hair presets folder, it should be in UserName > AppData > Local > Pixiv > VrodStudio > hair_presets
  5. Launch Vroid Studio and select one avatar (or make a new one)
  6. Click on Hair editor (top menu)
  7. Click on Preset (left menu): A list with all the presets you have in the hair_presets folder should be displayed
  8. Choose the preset you want to load into your character
  9. Click on import from preset (left menu)
