Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.01.1 Released: Fixes Major Glitches, and Changes Gameplay Balance

FromSoftware just released the first update for Elden Ring: Nightreign, called patch 1.01.1, and it brings some important changes to gameplay and fixes major bugs.

Here is a list of some major bugs it fixes:

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the background music wouldn’t play properly in certain places.

  • Resolved a bug where the HUD wouldn’t show up on specific platforms.

  • Fixed a problem where reconnecting to sessions or starting Expeditions would fail on some devices.

  • Corrected a bug where the “Exit Remembrance” effect didn’t appear during a “Wylder” Remembrance on some platforms.

  • Improved how graphics are rendered in some enemy battles.

  • Cleaned up some text and dialogue errors.

  • Fixed an issue where sound effects were not playing correctly in some parts of the game.

  • Fixed a bug where the “Ghostflame Ignition” skill didn’t activate in some situations.

  • Resolved an issue where the “Frostbite” effect wouldn’t build up when using the “Moonlight Greatsword” light wave attack.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the “Bleeding” effect from building up when using the “Bloody Slash” skill.

  • Adjusted the speed of arrows fired with “Mighty Shot” and “Enchanted Shot” to match intended speeds.

  • Resolved a problem where the magic spell “Rock Sling” had a longer range than expected when used with a staff in the left hand.

  • Fixed a bug in the “Restage” skill of the Duchess that prevented status effects from triggering when built up by others’ attacks.

  • Corrected a bug that caused enemies from the “Those Who Live in Death” group to revive even when defeated using the “Sacred Blade” skill.

  • Adjusted camera movement when using the Guardian’s Ultimate Art, “Wings of Salvation.”

  • Fixed a bug that caused the damage of Raider’s Greataxe and Great Hammer attacks to be higher than intended.

  • Fixed an issue with some Passive Effects not showing the correct values.

  • Fixed a bug where the Passive Effect “Successive Attacks Negate Damage” stacked when it shouldn’t.
