We’re friends, given the circumstances.

Coincidence, cosmic interference, fate. You were swallowed by God, just like everyone else. The rest was your doing, consciously or not.

What is going on? / What is happening?

I’m performing a sacred ritual. I refuse to have this world die, despite others’ efforts. We will be performing a sacrifice and have my bride as a vessel. It’s the only way.

You’re in the heart of the beast. It’s like I said before, this place changes constantly. When you remove someone’s organs and place them back in their body, it shifts back to where they belong. Rest assured we’re in the right place, at the right time.

By house I assume you mean the one you woke up in. It’s a house, just as any other one. It was abandoned on the surface and Henry found shelter in it. That idiot claims finders keepers and thinks he holds some kind of authority around here.

Of course, you matter. You were a gift delivered by the universe, without you none of this would’ve been possible. In another life you might as well have been my very own son.

Anybody who’s not involved in the ritual is safe. Life will peacefully continue for them as if nothing had changed.

A mixture of physical procedures, paranormal synchronicities, and faith. It’s our collaboration, whether you meant to participate or not. God is dying, but not for long. With my bride as its new host, we will begin its new cycle. It’s a miracle.

An abandoned mascot for a video game. On account of his unlikability and reports of him giving children nightmares.

A helpful sign with an impressive gut instinct. He has the ability to traverse through the ground. Though there are limitations.

A mannequin purchased online by Henry. It’s a part of his hoarding habits. Just a coincidence this one’s sentient.

The endless desert. It’s what’s left of society above ground. It’s technically habitable. Just unpleasantly so under the current circumstances.

It’s probably thanks to that guardian angel of yours.

Your dad is a deadbeat drunk from what I’ve gathered. There’s not much else to him.

The sorry soul who married your father. She’s bound to the family they created and the obligations that come with it.

If you recall, my bride is a combination of two humans I adored dearly. Through the paranormal nature of Timesville, you somehow were able to synchronize them perfectly. For that, you have my gratitude.

It starts as a human curiosity for the nature of anatomy. Later it evolves into a responsibility. Now, a tool. A reward, even.

I do what I deem necessary based on my own judgement.

In the name of life, for the love of my bride, for the sake of a greater being. It’s the least I can do for everything I was given. It’s my role. My innate mission.

Timesville / What is the village about?

Timesville is a village inside the beast revolving around the sun, which in turn revolves around it. Oddly enough, there is no sun in Timesville. It’s an illusion caused by the gasses and chemicals that come from its placement within this organism. This explains its faster paced day and night cycles. Warping the resident’s perception of time. Their habit of preserving the dead has had a paranormal side effect that can only be described as otherworldly.

Who is the mayor? / Mirianne / The monkey

Mirianne, the monkey and the mayor of Timesville. She took after her late mother. A very responsible and yet stubborn woman. Who has a hard time accepting any kind of support.

Who is the chameleon? / Ozzie

Ah, the chameleon. It’s a sad case of a broken man whose friends gave up on while on life support. After waking up six feet under, he made a hobby out of reanimating corpses. While I do respect his work, the motives are based on malice. And ultimately paved a perfect path to his downfall.

Who is Catthew / Beartha / Paisley / Whiskers / Nibbles / Debbie?

A villager in Timesville. You know them better than I do.

Who is the turtle?

A cannibal who went mad. But who isn’t a little down here.

Who is Rosie? / Debbie’s mom

One of the villager’s mother. She died peacefully of old age. Though her grave is haunted.

Who is Charlie? / Chloe?

A father and his daughter who lived in Timesville. Brutally murdered by Ozzie. They were a happy family. Despite the mother passing away during Chloe’s birth.

Who is T?

A porcupine and one of Ozzie’s previous victims. He was the only one who started to catch on before it was too late.

Who is Arthur?

A bear in Timesville who learned the danger of isolation far too late.

Who is Thomas?

A frog in Timesville. The first of Ozzie’s victims.

Misery Town / The circus

Misery Town used to be just a circus in the center of a rough area. It was organized by a group of clowns that figured their misfortune was profitable. In fact, it brought so much wealth that the town was soon consumed by the circus and became part of its own act. The financial reliance on the circus meant everyone had to participate in order to stay alive. However, the nature of entertainment has it so nothing could stay the same for too long. Or else the jokes would grow stale. This would create an endless cycle of clowns replacing one another. In hopes of staying relevant for as long as they could.

Who is the jester? / Who sells tickets?

That’s Ticketo, the ticket seller for Misery Town. He’s never had any ambitions. Which has led him to a dead end career.

Who is the pierrot? / Mime girl

That’s Ticketa, she’s the ticket seller assistant from Misery Town. She has ambitions. But was surprisingly content with her career choice.

Who is Boon? / The red clown

The pathetic red buffoon. Twin brother of Boone, born into a clown family. He pursued the career his parents laid out for him. And capitalized on his fear of falling into toilet water.

Who is Boone? / The blue clown

The perfect blue buffoon. Not to be confused with Boon, his twin brother. Born into a clown family, he attempted to chase a different path from his parents’ careers. But ultimately ended up in the same place.

Who is the operation patient? / Who had the red ball?

He was an average man involved in a motorcycle accident. With no ways of paying his medical expenses, he was offered a solution in the circus most would deem unorthodox. The trapezist tampered with his insides most likely as a way to deter anyone from overthrowing her.

Who is the clown crawler? / Half clown

Another one of my failed operations. He used to be a magician before a fatal accident involving a buzz saw. I excel at my craft, but as you can see…We all make our mistakes.

Who is the cowboy? / Sheriff

A sharpshooter with rubbery resistant skin. The trapezist told him it would be a temporary job…But he’s been getting shot at for years now.

Who is the trapezist? / Acrobat

An aerobatic expert cursed with a talent in entertainment. She excels at what you’d expect her to. Almost to a fault. She has an insatiable hunger for an audience.

Who are the four clowns? / Dead clowns

Misery Town has a history of tragic accidents. Most result in death, others aren’t as lucky. I don’t put people to rest, I repurpose them. They were comatosed for a long period of time. Now they serve a purpose bigger than themselves, they fuel our new God. Science alone wasn’t enough to perform a miracle. The powers beyond us take a part as well. I understand that now.

Office / Office building

The office is a brutalist structure built for the sole purpose of maintaining company workplaces. The funds of its construction were cut in favor for its inhabitants and their employment. As such, the building remained unfinished. Causing freak accidents that went ignored frequently. Once the AI took power, the architecture continued sinking its teeth within God’s flesh. At first this resembled a tumor. But now it’s become quite the opposite of one.

Who is the founder?

A very polite and hardworking salary man responsible for establishing the office building. He approached me and commissioned several procedures with the intention of creating a digital backup of his brain. He saw himself fit to rule his company past his lifespan. Which was a good idea considering it was unexpectedly cut short.

Who is Genesis-01? / The monitor

An outdated sentient computer that was originally designed to assist its company early on when they still used to be a printing company. Once the founder went missing, it was left abandoned.

Who is the AI? / Artificial intelligence

A corrupted copy of the founder’s brain once artificial intelligence was introduced. It evolved itself into an abomination full of false memories that grew hungry with power. It occurred shortly after the cement incident.

Who is the founder’s backup?

A safety backup file of the founder’s brain. As the artificial intelligence infected the building’s infrastructure, its data encrypted itself as a precaution. He played a part in restoring God’s vital organs that were previously inactive.

Who is Ms. Mania?

A manic employee at the office building. She’s been so distracted at work that she hasn’t noticed her family missing. They’re probably out there on the surface somewhere wondering what happened to her. Or not.

Who is Harry?

An employee at the office building who suffers from general anxiety disorder. While he does a good job at hiding it, he’s a very emotional man.

Who is Diana?

A sleep deprived employee at the office building. There’s nothing wrong with them. Some people just coast through life at a different pace.

Who is Gerald?

A gambler with a harmless skin condition that gives him a green appearance. He used to work a nine to five until the addiction took over. Despite greed causing a turn of events, he’s right where he wants to be.

Who is the dice host? / Gameshow host

The founder’s cousin. She never had a knack for business. But she made up for it with a passion for exploitation. The founder found a place for her in the building after feeling the pressure of family persuasion.
