AFK Journey – Equipment Guide

In AFK Journey, one of the most important things you need to get and make is gear. It’s not too hard to do though.

Adding gear to your heroes will boost their stats, letting you do more damage and move further in the game.

Gacha systems that aren’t AFK Journey equipment are easy to understand when you look at them next to AFK Journey equipment systems.

Since it’s free to play, you don’t have to spend a crazy amount of time getting stuff for each hero.

If you want to get better at AFK Journey, this guide will tell you everything you need to know about gear, including how to get it and how to make it.

How to Get Equipment

Getting equipment in AFK Journey is a pretty easy thing to do. Here’s where you can get gear:

Getting boxes from the Map: As you travel around the world, you’ll find different chests. You can get odd things, like gear, from those chests

Freedom Chests for Gear: Once you hit a certain level of resonance, you’ll get freedom chests where you can pick out any gear you want.

AFK Progress: You will get the majority of the equipment. The sum of equipment and type is random, yet what’s great is that if you get equipment that you don’t want, you can always recover it to get materials.

Growth Path and Trails: There are quests and jobs that you can do, and they will give you tools and materials for making as prizes.

General and Adventure Store: We suggest that you only buy equipment using gems that you need or that are cheap so you can recover it to get materials.

How to Forge Equipment

Forging tools improve them by improving their level. They’ll boost the stats even more, finally helping you win fights.

Moreover, you can even make equipment that you don’t have. For example, if you don’t have headgear, you can use gold and diamonds to make it in an instant.

Different making stones improve or make tools belonging to different stages, as follows:

• Forging Stone I (Level 1–60)
• Forging Stone II (Level 65–105)
• Forging Stone III (Level 110–145)
• Forging Stone IV (Level 150–185)
• Forging Stone V (Level 190–240)

You can get forge stones by reusing extra equipment that is no longer useful.

As an example, if you’ve got two Bells of Mercy, one at level 50 and the other at level 100, the former is worthless and should be recycled.

The shaping stones needed to update the equipment to higher levels must be obtained by reusing equipment of higher levels as well.

So, if you want to make a weapon to level 200, you must return a piece of equipment that is at levels 190–240 to get the level V forging stone.

Classes in AFK Journey

AFK Journey now includes the following six equipment classes:

• Support
• Rogue
• Mage
• Marksman
• Warrior
• Tank

Now, like we said, when you equip gear for one class, then every hero belonging to that class gets its effect, which is super cool and time-saving!

This is a great method, so you don’t have to spend endless hours equipping each person with their tools. The only thing that is specific to the hero is exclusive weapons, which we will explain later in the book.

You have six different pieces of equipment that you can equip in each class. They are:

• Weapon
• Gloves
• Ring
• Helmet
• Chest
• Boots

Right now, there are no special spots or bonuses that you can get. Should they get implemented, we will update the guide.

Types in AFK Journey

In the same way, the classes and the types of equipment are now six. These are as follows, along with other stats they increase:

• Weapon (ATK, Crit)
• Head (ATK, Phys DEF, Magic DEF, Crit)
• Accessory (HP, ATK, Healing)
• Head (HP, ATK, Phys DEF, Magic DEF, Crit Resist)
• Body (HP, Phys DEF, Magic DEF, Healing, Crit Resist)
• Leg (HP, Crit Resist, Haste)

Getting Stones For Exclusive Equipment

Obtaining the stones required for upgrading Exclusive Equipment is incredibly difficult and requires a significant amount of time and effort.

You may get Stone by:

In-game Shop: You may buy stones from the in-game store. Do this only if you want to play the game for a long period.

Dream Realm: In Dream Realm, you may collect a significant number of stones. Obtaining Dazzling Stone from Dream Realm is difficult since you must be in the top 20 of the leaderboards, which is unattainable if you are a new player.

Emporium: Stone may spawn in the Emporium. If you see one, be sure you buy it. It is worth it.

Guild Chest: Guild chests provide a considerable quantity of stone. Make sure you join the active guild and participate in guide activities.
