Field Research Pokemon Go – ¿What is it?
Research is a feature in Pokemon Go, when you complete it, you get a reward, the more challenging a task, the greater the reward will be.
Within Pokemon Go you can find 2 types of research: field research and special research.
Field Research
To get a field research you must turn a pokeStop (only complete 1 per day).
You can complete as many Field Investigations as you like, as long as you have enough PokeStops. You can accumulate a maximum of 3 field investigations.
The first Field Research completed during the current day will reward you a stamp to unlock a Research Breakthrough.
7 stamps: they don´t need to be consecutive, stamps can be accumulated and not lost. By completing 7 stamps you can open a reward box which will contain very useful things, such as: rare candies, Pineapple Berries, Ultra Balls, Poke Balls, etc.
Special Investigation
It can be considered as part of the story in Pokemon Go, consisting of a series of special tasks within a period of time, such as an event at Christmas or any other important event. Special investigations usually consist of several steps and are relatively difficult to complete. They are saved in the special investigations menu and are not deleted. When you complete them, they will be saved so you can check all the ones you have completed during your life in Pokemon Go.
