Genshin Impact Level Up Guide – Best farming methods, best characters to level up and why you shoul focus on it from the beginning

Genshin Impact Level Up – Character Exp Material

Character Exp Materials are probably the fastest way to level up your characters. These are the Character Exp Materials:

• Wanderer’s Advice: gives 1,000 Exp
• Adventurer’s Experience: gives 5,000 Exp
• Hero’s Wit: Gives 20,000 Exp

You can find or obtain these materials from quest, defeating elite enemies (drop) and also chests

Blossoms Of Revelations

If you want to farm Character Exp Materials, the best farming method is to defeat blossom of revelations. The character exp materials are a guaranteed reward, and as ememies they are not very strong. But take in mind that you will need Original Resin to open

Enemy Farming

If there are not character Exp materials guaranteed, enemy farming is not a recommended exp farming method. Of course you get exp points every time you defeat an enemy, but much less compared to the exp of any of the character exp materials

Genshin Impact Level Up – Who to Level Up

Character Exp Materials are not easy to farm, so don’t wate them with not very useful characters. Try not to level up more than 2 characters at the same time, and only level up Tier S or Tier A characters

Best Characters to level up

Tier S Characters

• Diluc
• Fischl
• Qiqi
• Venti

Tier A Characters

• Barbara
• Chongyun
• Jean
• Keqing
• Mona
• Razor
• Traveler (anemo)
• Xiangling
• Xiao

So if you want to level up a free character, should be Traveler, you can switch the element later, but as of the date of this guide, Traveler (anemo) is tier A. You can also level up Kaeya, a Tier B+ character, but don’t waste your time with Amber or Noelle.

Genshin Impact Level Up – Why to Level Up

Every time you level up a character, his or her stats (Max HP, ATK, DEF) will improve, so it is an indispensable requirement if you want to survive in the hardest dungeons

You will also need to level up characters if you want to ascend them (increase the level cap), first you will have to reach their level cap, and them ascending is a requirement to keep leveling up to keep improving stats
