How to Make Netherite in Minecraft – Crafting
These are the two crafting recipes, to get scraps or Ingots
- Netherite Scrap: Smelt ancient debris in a furnace or blast furnace with fuel
- Netherite Ingot: Combine x4 netherite scraps and 4 gold ingots (shapeless recipe), Netherite ingots can be used on a smithing table to upgrade diamond items to netherite items
So the next thing you need to know is where to get Scraps or Ancient Debris
Where to Find Netherite & Ancient debris?
You have two options, find Netherite directly (scraps or ingots) or find the ingredient (Ancient Debris) with which to make Netherite Scraps:
- Ancient Debris: in the Nether, specifically at Y-levels 8 to 22 (most frequently found at y-level 15-21). There is an average of 1.65 ancient debris blocks per chunk, but you will need a diamond or netherite pickaxe (better).
- Netherite Scraps & Ingots: In the Nether, inside Bastion remmands
- Bridge Chances: 0%
- Generic Chances: Netherite scraps 4,5%
- Hoglin Stable Chances: Netherite scraps 9,5%
- Treasure Chances: Netherite scraps 24.4% & Netherite Ingots 42.1%
Hoglin Stable (consist of a three-part rampart with damaged Hoglin stables on either side), and Treasure Room (consists of a large rampart supported by buttresses, with a bridge going between it and the treasure room itself)
How to Make Netherite in Minecraft – Gear
To get Netherite gear: Upgrade Diamond Gear in a smithing table using Netherite Ignots
- Netherite Sword: Diamond Sword + Netherite Ignot
- Netherite Pickaxe: Diamond Pickaxe + Netherite Ignot
- Netherite Axe: Diamond Axe + Netherite Ignot
- Netherite Shovel: Diamond Shovel + Netherite Ignot
- Netherite Hoe: Diamond Hoe + Netherite Ignot
Netherite Armor
You can’t craft netherite armor, but you can get it by upgrading diamond armor, as long as you have netherite ingots. In the first sections we explain how to get ingots
