Twitch Chat Commands – Full List – All the Twitch chat commands explained, with examples and Ids, for broadcasters & moderators, and for everyone

Twitch Chat Commands – For Everyone

These chat commands are available for every twitch user

  • /mods: Shows all channel’s moderators
  • /vips: Shows all channel’s vips
  • /color [colorname] or /color [Hex Value]: To change the color or your username (check colors below)
  • /block [username]: Blocks all messages from [username]
  • /unblock [username]: Unblocks all messages from [username]
  • /me + message: to italicize your message text
  • /disconnect: to disconnect you from the chat server
  • /whisper [username] + message: to send a private message to [username]
  • @username: Target you message at [usermame]

Colors

Color names: Blue, Coral, DodgerBlue, SpringGreen, YellowGreen, Green, OrangeRed, Red, GoldenRod, HotPink, CadetBlue, SeaGreen, Chocolate, BlueViolet, and Firebrick

Hex Value (only for turbo users): #+ 6 digit number (i.e: #000000)

Twitch Chat Commands – Broadcasters & Moderators

These chat commands are only for broadcasters & moderators

  • /user [username]: to open a user’s profile card
  • /timeout [username] [seconds]: to ban a player (username) during (seconds)
  • /ban [username]: to permanently ban a player (username)
  • /unban [username]: to unban a player (username)
  • /slow [seconds]: to set how often users can send messages (each x seconds)
  • /slowoff: to disable slow mode
  • /followers: to restrict a chat depending on how long the have followed (check examples below)
  • /followersoff: to remove followers restrictions
  • /subscribers: the room will only be available for subscribers
  • /subscribersoff: to remove subscribers restrictions
  • /clear: to wipe the previous chat history.
  • /uniquechat:  to stop generic copy-pasted messages intended as spam
  • /uniquechatoff:  to disable uniquechat mode
  • /emoteonly:  Only 100% emotes messages allowed
  • /emoteonlyoff:  to disable emotes ony messages
  • /comercial [seconds]:  to run a comercial for 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 or 180 seconds
  • /host [channel]: to host another channel on yours (embedded video player)
  • /unhost: to revert the embedding from hosting
  • /raid [channel]: to send the viewer to another live channel
  • /unraid: to cancel the raid
  • /marker [Description]: to add a stream marker
  • /mod [username]: to promote [username] to channel moderator
  • /unmod [username]: to demote [username] from channel moderator
  • /vip [username]: to give [username] a vip status
  • /unvip [username]: to revoke vip status

Followers

Set the required time as you wish

  • minutes: /followers 20 minutes
  • hours: /followers 6 hours
  • days: /followers 7 days
  • weeks: /followers 2 weeks
  • months: /followers 2 Months
