When Does GTA 5 Update Weekly?
Before going into the contents of the newest update, when does GTA 5 update weekly? Well, Rockstar has yet to announce the next GTA 5 Online weekly update, but we know the dates of the current one and the times they release. First off, the current GTA 5 weekly update began on June 26th and is set to end on July 3rd. What Rockstar has in store after that, we’ll have to wait and see, but this guide and provide some tips to stay on top of future updates.
As for the GTA 5 weekly update time, the release times will depend on your time zone. Below are the times that the weekly updates are usually released per time zone:
- East Coast US: 5 am (EST)
- West Coast US: 2 am (PST)
- UK: 10 am (GMT)
- Europe: 11 am (CET)
Safeguard Deliveries
One of the biggest and most important features of every weekly GTA 5 update is the weekly challenges. For this update, the weekly challenges involve completing some new safeguard missions. In these quests, you are tasked with making important deliveries in an armored vehicle. The less damage you take with your valuable cargo, the more money you’ll receive by the end of the mission. Completing three deliveries rewards you with the Hands-on Car Wash Overalls and a bonus of $200,000. If you want to find more ways to earn money on GTA 5 Online, check u7buy.com to find some ways to top up your account.
To start the missions, you’ll have to head over to the Bobcat Security or Gruppe Sechs depots. Once you get started, you will find yourself with your cargo in an armored truck. In the bottom right corner, you’ll see the estimated payout of the delivery. This number will lower the more damage that you take. Thankfully, there is no time limit to the delivery, but eventually, some hostiles will come chasing you. It’s recommended to fight them off by shooting from your truck window, as you won’t be able to outrun them.
GTA$ Bonuses on Money Laundering & Dispatch Work
As per every weekly GTA 5 update, there are some 2x money-generating bonuses to certain missions to take advantage of. In this update, the bonuses found this time are in the dispatch work and Higgins Helitours’ money laundering quests in particular. Both missions highlight some of the newest content GTA 5 Online has seen in a bit, so some players may not have access to these bonuses. However, we’ll go over how to possibly unlock this possibility.
Let’s first go over the money laundering mission bonus. The bonus, unfortunately, doesn’t pertain to all the money laundering missions and payouts entirely during this weekly GTA 5 update. Instead, there is a 2x bonus for strictly the Higgins Helitours missions, which require a lot of piloting in helicopters. During these missions, you’ll have to try and locate your missing cargo. These missions are relatively straightforward as long as you know how to handle a helicopter. However, you will need the newest money laundering business, which is the car wash. The car wash can be bought from the Maze Bank Foreclosures for about $1,000,000.
Then, for the dispatch missions, it requires a lot more extra work to actually start them. However, if you have access to these missions, then the payouts are massive with the added 2x bonus during the GTA 5 Online weekly update. To unlock dispatch missions, you’ll have the complete the Cluckin’ Bell Raid. After that, you’ll be able to purchase a certified LSPD vehicle, which can then be used for these missions. You have to purchase the vehicle, so don’t go rob a police car for an unnecessary wanted level!
