How to Get Silicone in Astroneer – Source

Silicone cannot be found, you must create it from the following recipe

Requires: Chemistry Lab| Recipe: x1 Resin + x1 Methane + x1 Quartz = x1 Silicone

How to Create the Chemistry Lab?

Requires: Medium Printer Module | Recipe: Chemistry Lab = Tungsten + Glass + Ceramic

Tungsten: Check the Tungsten guide

Ceramic: Check the Ceramic guide

Glass: Use Quartz in the smelting furnace, to find the Quartz

Quartz can be found on all of the Planets.

The Soil Centrifuge produces 4 Quartz with two full Canisters of Soil.

The Trade Platform gives 2 Quartz for every Scrap, up to 8 total for 4 Scrap.

How to Get Resin, Methane & Quartz?

Resin: using the Terrain Tool on deposits that can be found on all of the Planets.

The Soil Centrifuge produces 8 Resin with two full Canisters of Soil.

The Trade Platform gives 2 Resin for every Scrap, up to 8 total for 4 Scrap

Methane: can be found on the following planets using the Atmospheric Condenser:

• Novus : 75 ppu
• Atrox : 100 ppu

Quartz: can be found on all of the Planets.
