How to Get The Oscar Rod in Fisch (Guide)

In the latest Lobster Mechanics update, Fisch developers introduced several rods into the main game, and the most sought after is the Oscar rod.

This is a quest rod that requires that you get Oscar’s Amulet and then proceed to a secret underground location to acquire the rod. Just in case you are confused with the whole process,

here is a step by step guide on how to get the Oscar Rod in Fisch.

How to Acquire Oscar Rod in Fisch

To start the quest for Oscar rod, one has to interact with the Dead Man Joe non-player character (NPC) on the Isle of New Beginnings in the second sea. 

Note that this quest is in the second sea category, and anyone below level 100 cannot participate in this activity. The exact global positioning system (GPS) coordinate of the location is (-377, 78.4, -447.4).

When I got into a conversation with him, he starts explaining the tale of a fisherman Oscar and his famous rod. According to him, to acquire this rod, you have to go to an underwater cave.

But before you start this adventure, you need to get his Amulet at Grand Reef, which will guide your path and keep your spirit from decaying.

Board your boat and travel to the first sea using the Sea Traveler NPC at Waveborne. Take a trip to Grand Reed Island at the coords (-3559, 144, 481.4) where you’ll see a glowing amulet next to a wrecked ferry. 

Grab that and return again to the Dead Man Joe NPC on the second sea.

Giving the Dead Man Joe NPC the Amulet will make him reveal the secret underground entrance near the Cursed Shores where you‘ll find the Oscar Rod.

Head for Cursed Shore, and at (-340.5, 78.5, 1708.4) there is a secret entrance that directs you to where Oscar rod is located. Just make sure before going that you have worn the Amulet along with your Diving Gears.

Swim through the narrow passageway and on to the far end, where there is a point at which you may resurface. On the left-hand side of the area, 

where there is a heap of fish, is where the yellow and red Oscar Rod is located. Give E$ 5,000,000, and it is yours!
