How to Heal Status Effects In Starfield – Full List
We explain how to cure each of the Status Effects or afflictions that will cause a Debuff.
Although there are a total of 18 Status Effects, the cures are grouped into 5 types of afflictions. And you always have the alternative of using some item to cure yourself (we indicate it below) or visiting a doctor to cure you.
- Broken Bones – blue: The best way to cure it is with an immobilizer, although you can always go to a doctor.
- Dislocated Limbs
- Fractured Limbs
- Fractured Skull
- Sprains
- Torn Muscles
- Injuries – yellow sign: You can cure yourself if you have an injector or snake oil, but you can also put yourself in the hands of a doctor.
- Brain Injury
- Concussion
- Heatstroke
- Hernia
- Hypothermia
- Lung Damage
- Poisioning
- Radiation Poisoning
- Infections – purple: You can try to solve it yourself, with Penicillin X or Antibiotics, or you can find a Doctor to cure you
- Temperature Effects – orange: If you don’t really like going to a doctor for help, you can solve your temperature problems with Heal gel or Heal paste.
- Blisters

How to Heal Status Effects In Starfield – How to Find a Doctor
Doctors can cure any status effect and restore your health for 1000 credits. Finding them is usually not difficult, most locations have an in-house doctor or a Reliant Medical shop
If you have the item you need to heal yourself, or know where to find it, we recommend you save the 1000 credits. In fact, we recommend that you always have at least one of the 5 necessary cures, and only if you are short of cures, always have a nearby doctor located, and of course, the 1000 credits
