About Naraka Bladepoint

Naraka Bladepoint isn’t just another battle-royale title. Developed by 24 Entertainment and published by NetEase Games Montreal, the game hosts up to 60 players and they fight each other to be the last one standing.

The game features a rock-paper-scissors battle system and melee combat influenced by martial arts. There are a ton of melee and ranged weaponry options available, along with a grappling hook that may be utilized for both fighting and moving. Every hero also has special abilities and powers that can be customized to fit your preferred playing style. August 2021 saw the debut of the game for Microsoft Windows, and on June 23, 2022, it was ported to the Xbox Series X/S. Later on, on December 22, 2022, an Xbox One version was made available. On July 13, 2023, the PlayStation 5 version of the game was launched, and it was then made available for free. Thanks to that, the game now has over 20 million players across all of the available platforms.

What Is Crossplay/Cross-Platform?

Crossplay or cross-platform is simply the ability of a game to allow its players to connect and play with players from other platforms. For example: If a video game supports crossplay, then from your PlayStation 5, you can play with another player who plays the same game from an Xbox Series X. Does Naraka Bladepoint Support Crossplay?

Initially, Naraka Bladepoint did not come with crossplay when it was released. It was added later to the game. Now, let’s get to the good part. Does Narake Bladepoint have crossplay? For the most part, the answer to that question is yes! Naraka Bladepoint does support cross-platform among players from PC, PS5, and Xbox. However, there are a few buts here and there:

• PC: PC players have always-on crossplay turned on by default.
• PS5: PS5 players can choose between playing with other PS5 players only or with all platforms. They can’t specifically play with only Xbox players.
• Xbox: Cross-platform support between Xbox and Microsoft Store players is turned on by default. However, this can be expanded to all players.

Also, do remember that no matter which platform you are on, you will always be connected to players from your region. You have to switch to a different region if you want to connect to other players. Ping might be quite an issue in that case, so be careful about that.
