This guide walks you through every mechanic with tables, bullet lists, and callouts, no misinformation, just pure survival strategy. Despite its title, Saeko: Giantess Dating Sim is a horror-style visual novel. You play Rin, one of six thumb-sized captives in Saeko’s desk drawer. By day you manage food and sacrifice choices; by night you respond to real-time prompts; at midnight you check Saeko’s phone for lore and a quirky minigame. Every action shifts Health and Appeal or sets hidden flags, leading to one of three endings.
Updated for Patch 1.2.5+: includes “Midnight Date” variations and all new CG entries.

Act I: Point-&-Click Controls & UI

- Click or tap the text box to advance dialogue; hold “Skip” to fast-forward read lines.
- Gear icon opens Save/Load, Settings, and CG Gallery panels.
- Settings → Display: adjust text speed, font size, and color-blind palettes.
- Settings → Accessibility: enable extra Quick Save slots and tweak auto-advance delay.
- Use Manual Quick Saves before every decision, essential for A/B testing.
Quick Save slots are limited, erase oldest saves only after pivotal Days or Nights.
Act II: Day Cycle – Feeding Choices
Each morning, Saeko returns and demands lunch. You see six captives with two bars: Health (green) and Appeal (pink). The drawer contains one food item; peanut, candy, fish, cake, etc. Assign it to a captive to raise their Appeal, then Saeko eats them. Delay past the timer auto-selects the captive with highest Appeal.
- Open Day menu: compare Health vs. Appeal bars for all captives.
- Pick the sacrifice quickly, don’t let Saeko choose for you.
- If an item runs out, you still must select someone before time expires.
- Any captive at 0% Health is auto-fed; failing to feed before time’s up ends the run.
On early Days, feed the lowest-Appeal captive above 20% Health to extend total survival.
Act III: Core Stats – Health & Appeal
No visible “Morale” gauge, night replies set hidden flags. Focus on these two bars:
| Stat | Range | Mechanic |
|---|---|---|
| Health | 0–100% | Decreases 5–10% if not recently fed; 0% = auto-feed or Game Over. |
| Appeal | 0–100% | Drives AI selection on delay; boosted by feeding or “pleasing” night replies. |
Evenly distribute food across Days, over-feeding one captive wastes Health preservation.
Act IV: Night Cycle – Timed Prompts
Nightfall brings Saeko’s monologues. Dialogue bubbles pop up with 1–3 reply options, click before the timer hits zero or the game auto-chooses the harshest answer (often instant death or flag shifts).
- Choices range from simple Yes/No to tone-tinted replies. Each sets hidden “Atonement” or “Genocide” flags.
- Failing to respond, or clicking erratically, triggers Game Over.
- Correct timing and empathetic tone unlock special lore lines.
- Bare Nights have no prompts, hold Skip to breeze to Midnight.
One missed prompt can lock you out of Atonement flags, always save before Night begins.
Act V: Midnight Cycle – Phone & Minigame
After Saeko departs, Rin checks her feature phone:
- Save your game. Midnight is the only other save window.
- Read in-world headlines that foreshadow endings and lore beats.
- Browse a text-based side story that progresses daily.
- Play a one-button minigame (skater-style) for pure flavor, no mechanical perks.
Access the final web-novel chapter only if one captive’s Appeal stayed ≥50% at the end of Day 4.
Act VI: Three Endings – Routes & Flags

Your feeding pattern plus hidden-flag replies unlocks one of three finales:
- Genocide (Destruction) Ending: Select enthusiastic/defiant replies and feed all but one captive over the week. Saeko and Rin grow giant and destroy the city together.
- Atonement (Mercy-Kill) Ending: Spread sacrifices evenly, choose remorseful replies Nights 3–6. Saeko restores captives, shrinks herself, and Rin kills her. Truth emerges in the media.
- Mercy-Spare Ending: Same Atonement flags, but choose not to kill Saeko when prompted. You keep her alive (still shrunken) in the drawer under your care.
For Atonement, limit to one sacrifice every two days and pick “I’m sorry” style responses on Nights 3–6. Then at the final choice, select your desired Mercy or Mercy-Kill option.
Act VII: Advanced Tips & Speedrun Hacks
- Macro Quick Saves: automate Day→Feed→Save loops for pattern tests.
- Hold Skip through empty nights to reach branching nights (3, 5, 7) faster.
- Watch Ani KAngel’s “All Endings Guide” on YouTube for precise flag cues and dialogue tones.
- Maintain one captive’s Appeal >50% to unlock optional lore scenes on Days 4 and 7.
Max Text Speed + Auto-Advance + macro Quick Saves = all three endings under 90 minutes.
Act VIII: Pitfalls & Save-Game Safety
- Delaying any feed or prompt auto-kills highest-Appeal captive, be timely.
- Autosaves occur only at Midnight. Manual Quick Saves are your lifeline.
- Alt-tab during disk writes can corrupt saves, exit menus cleanly or use Steam Backup.
- Backup your
Documents\Saeko\Savesfolder before testing new routes or exploits.
Corrupt saves can force full restarts. Always verify your most recent Quick Save before major decisions.
