She just appears (inside or outside the house), searches for something, and then disappears, but when she appears the lights will start flickering. So it seems that the game itself is warning you that you have to do something. And indeed, if you want her to disappear, you have to give her what she is looking for =  The Doll Toy

Unfortunately you can’t find it whenever you want, it depends on the doll event showing up. So just keep playing until you get it. But when you do, put it on the shelf so she can find it. If it’s any help:
