Deep Rock Galactic Promotion Guide – How To Promote?

The promotion terminal can be found in the Memorial Hall, but there are to prerequisites to promote.

• Reach level 25 with any class
• Complete all the Promotion Assignments (unlock them once you reach level 25)

And of course you can only promote the class that meets both requirements. If you want to promote the four classes (Driller, Engineer, Gunner & Scout) you will have to reach level 25 with all of them and them complete all the promotion assignments

Class Promotion Assignments

these are the promotion assignments depending on your class:

• Driller Level 25: Mining Expedition, Escort Duty, On Site Refining and also Point Extraction
• Engineer Level 25: Mining Expedition, Salvage Operation, Egg Hunt and also On Site Refining
• Gunner Level 25: Mining Expedition, Salvage Operation, Egg Hunt and also Escort Duty
• Scout Level 25: Mining Expedition, Salvage Operation, Egg Hunt and also Escort Duty

Deep Rock Galactic Promotion Guide – Promotion Benefits

There are promotion bonuses for the class you promote:

• Extra honor badge
• Extra active perk slot
• Keep leveling the Character level for that class (it resets the level back to 1, but it increases the player rank for prestige assingments
• Ability to activate Machine events (applies to all class, but requires the Tritilyte Key)
• New Assignments: Breach The Core and also the Weekly Core Hunt
• Access to Deep Dives and also The Forge

Deep Rock Galactic Promotion Guide – Honor Badge

When you promote your character portrait will get a bronze border and a white star, and thats the honor badge. But you can improve your honor badge if you keep promoting, up to 17 times, there are 18 honor badges:

• I Bronze
• II Bronze
• III Bronze
• I Silver
• II Silver
• III Silver
• I Gold
• II Gold
• III Gold
• I Platinum
• II Platinum
• III Platinum
• I Diamond
• II Diamond
• III Diamond
• I Legendary
• II Legendary
• III Legendary

Honor badges are the only benefit of multiple promotions, but there are no additional game changing benefits. And Legendary III is the best available Honor Badge
