Gmod Cheats Codes – How to enable Console?

Go to Options (main menu), then to the keyboard tab, where you have to select Advanced…, check Enable Developer Console (~), Ok and apply changes.

Now you have the cheating console enabled and you just have to press “~”  to open the console while playing. Once opened you can type any of the Garry’s mod cheat codes or console commands we are going to provide you:

These are the best cheat codes or console commands for Gmod ( Garry’s mod):

  • Enable cheats – sv_cheats 1
  • God mode (invincibility) – god
  • Immortal – buddha: Even if you lose health you wont die
  • Weapons – impulse 101: You get all the Half Life 2 weapons
  • Max Ammo – givecurrentammo: but just for the current weapon
  • Noclip – noclip: It allows you to walk through walls, fly…
  • Invisible – notarget: Npcs won’t see you
  • Set gravity – sv_gravity X: X is a number, the amount of gravity you want
  • Autokill – kill: you will suicide if you use it
  • Autohurt – hurtme X: X is a number, the amount of health you want to lose
  • Change Camera – thirdperson or firstperson: depending on the view you want
  • Remove screen info – cl_drawhud 0: you can recover the info typing cl_drawhud 1
  • Spawn citizen – npc_citizen or npc_create
  • Get item – give [itemname]
  • Name Change – name [thenameyouwant]
  • Airboat spawn – ch_createairboat: The airboat spawns in front of the player
  • Jalopy spawn – ch_createjalopy: The jalopy spawns in front of the player
  • Jeep spawn – ch_createjeep: The jeep spawns in front of the player

You can create the weapon you want, it will spawn where you are looking, examples:

  • Alyx’s Gun – ent_create weapon_alyxgun
  • 357 – ent_create weapon_357
  • Stun Stick – ent_create weapon_stunstick
  • Crowbar – ent_create weapon_crowbar
  • Gravity Gun – ent_create weapon_physcannon
  • Crossbow – ent_create weapon_crossbow
  • Bug Bait – ent_create weapon_bugbait

  1. Sandbox game that puts you in the role of a ‘normal person’. You have to find ways to amuse yourself. There are no story missions and there is no end point.
