A Deep Dive into Pet Ages: The Journey from Newborn to Full Grown
In Adopt Me, every pet goes through a series of stages as they grow older. Regardless of their rarity, pets will progress through the following age levels:
- Newborn
- Junior
- Pre-Teen
- Teen
- Post-Teen
- Full Grown
Upon reaching the Full Grown stage, you can combine four fully grown pets to create a Neon Pet. This resets the pet’s age, but the age levels will have different names.
Neon Pets: A New Beginning with Unique Ages
When you create a Neon Pet, it begins a new life cycle with the following age levels:
- Reborn
- Twinkle
- Sparkle
- Flare
- Sunshine
- Luminous
- Mega-Neon (Full Grown)
Although these age levels mirror the progression of a normal pet, they come with distinct names to set them apart.
The Road to Growth: Tasks Required for Each Age Level and Pet Rarity
As your pet’s rarity increases, so does the number of tasks needed to advance through each age level. The table below shows the total number of tasks required for each pet rarity and age level:

To level up Neon Pets, you’ll need to complete tasks just like with normal pets. A pet reaches its final stage, Mega-Neon, upon becoming fully grown.
