Rust Workbench Tech Tree – Tier 1
Tier 1 Workbench cost: x500 Wood + x100 Metal Fragments + x50 Scrap
Key Tier 1 items or blueprints and their cost (scrap):
- Revolver & Ammo: Requires 565 Scrap
- Wood Compound: Requires 715 Scrap
- Satchel Raiding: Requires 765 Scrap
Other useful Tier 1 items or blueprints and their cost (scrap)
- Leather gloves: Requires 175 Scrap
- Ladder
- Bed
- Mixing Table
- Some electronics
If you want to unlock every Tier 1 item or blueprint, you will need 4,495 Scrap
Rust Workbench Tech Tree – Tier 2
Tier 2 Workbench cost: x500 Scrap + x500 Metal Fragments + x20 High Quality Metal
Key Tier 2 items or blueprints and their cost (scrap):
- Garage Door: Requires 515 Scrap
- T2 Gear: Requires 520 Scrap
- Large Furnace: Requires 875 Scrap
- Auto Turret: Requires 1,330 Scrap
- Semi Automatic Rifle: Requires 1,675 Scrap
- Stone Compound: Requires 2,025 Scrap
- Rocket Launcher: Requires 2,300 Scrap
If you want to unlock every Tier 2 item or blueprint, you will need 10,740 Scrap
Rust Workbench Tech Tree – Tier 3
Tier 3 Workbench cost: x1,250 Scrap + x1,000 Metal Fragments + x100 High Quality Metal
Key Tier 3 items or blueprints and their cost (scrap):
- Explosive Ammo: Requires 625 Scrap
- Rockets: Requires 1,750 Scrap
- Full Metal Assault Rifle: Requires 2,125 Scrap
If you want to unlock every Tier 3 item or blueprint, you will need 5,875 Scrap
Multiple tiers useful items or blueprints
These items require reversing scrap on workbenches of different tiers, and are quite useful.
- Berry & Hemp Farm: Requires 1,365 Scrap
- Standard Auto Turret Electrician: Requires 2120 + 265 Scrap
- Launcher + Rocket: Requires 4,050 Scrap
- Builder: Requires 4,490 Scrap
- T3 PvP Chad: Requires 4,705 Scrap
The reality is that there is nothing better than having everything unlocked. But to get it you will need 21,110 scrap, which is not impossible, but it will take a long time. So while unlocking everything should be your ultimate goal, we think it is advisable to go for the key items first, and then unlock the rest.
