Rust FPS Boost – In-Game Settings

To change the in-game settings, press ESC before joining a server, then click on the options tab and you will see 5 tabs. But to boost your FPS you need to make changes in the Graphics tab and in the Performance Tab

• High Quality Bloom = Off

Rust FPS Boost – External Settings

Your computer and your graphic card also need to be fully optimized if you want to improve your FPS:

Graphics Card Settings

• Update Drivers
• Max Performance: 3d settings – Adjust Image settings
• Antialiasing: Off
• Texture Filtering: High Performance

Computer Settings

The first step is to check the System Requirements of Rust, not only the min requirements, but also the recommended

If the requirements are not the reason, try these actions:

• Windows Performance: Properties > Advanced System Settings > Performance – Once there uncheck all the boxes
• Disable Core Parking: Win + R (same time) > type msconfig > Boot > Advanced Options – Once there choose maximum number of processors
• Disable Startup Programs: Win + R (same time) > type msconfig > Startup tab – Once there unckeck the programs that you don’t need to be working when you start windows
• Power Options: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options – Once there choose High Performance
• Temperature: Clean your PC if it is dirty (dust)
