Enshrouded is an open-world crafting adventure game that was recently just recently released for the January slate of 2024. Created by Keen Games, you are tasked to survive and reclaim your territory from the terror of the shroud. There are many tips already floating in the internet about this game but many players are still scratching their head with some of the mechanics. This Beginner tips guide will help you solve some of the problems you’ll encounter in the world of Enshrouded.
Brown is the Color of Resin
There are different trees in the world of Enshrouded. The green trees will give a few resin but in order to get more from what you chop down, find the trees with orange-brown leaves. Find more Resin by chopping down trees with gold/brown leaves.
Cheaper Lock picks
You can definitely craft your own lock picks in Enshrouded but there is an even better way. Go to the blacksmith and craft your lock picks for half the price.
Treasure all underground
There will be a small rock formation that can be seen sprouting from the ground. First off, The marker is noticeable with it’s smooth bunch of rock pattern. Lastly, they game often use the same texture to indicate a treasure hiding underneath it
Road-Worthy
Use the Roads often. When using the road to travel, you will game the ‘ On the Road’ buff. Roads provide comfortable travel and reduce the stamina needed for sprinting.
Chamomile in Enshrouded
In the world of Enshrouded, potions are the way to survive because let’s face it, you will have a hard time surviving without them. Chamomile can be found Northwest of the Ancient Spire – Revelwood fast travel.
No mountain high enough in Enshrouded
Enshrouded let’s player use their pick axe anywhere in the game. In order to traverse the face of a mountain, use the pick axe to dig up a few ledges for you to hop on to.
Save up some Flax
To get the Medium Pouch early, the tip here is to gather more flax by planting Flax Seedlings in your Seedbed earlier on.
Thirst for Water
Though water can be looted from your enemies and lootable containers, there is a small town beside your Enshrouded home called Longkeep that has a well with unlimited supply of water for your crafting needs.
Enshrouded 2-hour limit
In Enshrouded, items and loot re-spawn in about two hours. Either wait for them to re-spawn or just reboot your game.
Shroud Survival Flask
Many players don’t use this item correctly in Enshrouded. Use the Shroud Survival Flask ‘BEFORE’ you go inside the Shroud.
Enshrouded Red and Blue Shroud
In order to increase the time limit inside the shroud, increase and strengthen the flame in a flame altar to level up the shroud passage level.
Get those Skill Points
Completing the shroud inside an Elixir Well will give you skill points.
Different Weapons for Different Enemies
When hitting the enemy, use the appropriate weapon to deal more damage. Enemies can be defeated in the game of Enshrouded but in order to deal the most damage, quickly scroll through your weapon slots to find out which one deals more. Strategize your weapon use by using the weapon that is more effective in dealing damage.
