The story of Forspoken centers on Frey, a young New Yorker who uses a portal to teleport into the ethereal lands of Athia. You can move about its vast world using her newly discovered magic parkour skills and abilities. But if you want a faster way, you can quickly cross Athia by using fast travel. It can be helpful for a number of other things besides exploring, like healing. But how exactly do you do that? To learn more, see our guide to traveling quickly in Forspoken.
How To Fast Travel In Forspoken
You can travel quickly by discovering the Pilgrims Refuges scattered throughout Athia. These Pilgrim Refuges are unique inns or buildings that can be found throughout the country. Once you’ve found one, you must activate it in order to travel faster. After activating the Pilgrim Refuge, go to the Map and select the location you want to visit. You will be asked to confirm whether you want to travel to that location. To travel to that location, press the Yes button.
Way To Unlock Fast Travel
Fast Travel can be unlocked fairly early in the game by progressing through the story. After escaping Cipal City, you will come across a Pilgrim Refuge. As soon as you exit Cipal, look to your left for a small building. To activate it, you must enter and walk through the Pilgrim Refuge. You won’t be able to see the Refuge on the map unless you walk inside it. So, make a point of walking inside and activating every Pilgrim Refuge you come across.
These Refuges not only allow you to travel quickly, but they also replenish and heal your health. As a result, it can be extremely beneficial after or before encountering powerful enemies or bosses. To regain your health, simply rest on the Bed inside the Refuge. In addition, Healing Draughts can be found within these Refuges.
