One such activity is the Simulated Universe, an exciting roguelike event that unlocks early in the game. Completing Simulated Universes grants players access to an abundance of rewards, including valuable points that can be used to unlock even more benefits.
Unlocking the Simulated Universe and Setting Off on an Adventure
To begin your Simulated Universe journey in Honkai: Star Rail, head to Herta’s Office, located within the Herta Space Station. Approach the glowing portal, and let the adventure commence!
Understanding the Simulated Universe: A Roguelike Weekly Challenge
The Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail is a thrilling roguelike activity that involves battling waves of enemies, elite adversaries, and formidable bosses. Defeating these foes rewards you with buffs that strengthen your team for each individual run. As you progress through the various “Worlds” within the Simulated Universe, the challenges become increasingly difficult.
Collecting Rewards and Enhancing Your Characters
Each world offers unique drops that can be used for character or weapon enhancement. Additionally, players can earn “first-time clear” rewards for conquering a world for the very first time. Accumulating points by clearing Simulated Universes allows you to stack up to 3,500 points, which can be tracked under “Current Score.” These points can be exchanged for:
- Stellar Jades
- Credits
- Star Rail Passes
- Herta Bonds (special currency that can be spent at Herta’s Store for even more rewards)
In the Index, players can view the different Blessings, Curio, and Aeons they have unlocked:
- Blessings: Buffs obtained after defeating an enemy, lasting for the entire run.
- Curio: Buffs purchasable with Cosmic Fragments in World 3.
- Aeons: Powerful beings representing specific paths.
Conquering the Simulated Universe: Strategy and Tips
To begin a Simulated Universe run, select a world, and draft your team based on the recommended types and expected enemies. It’s important to have a balanced team, including at least one defensive unit like a shielder or healer. Choose a “Path” that affects potential buffs and provides a small boost.
Before starting the run, pick a Blessing of Trailblaze for an initial boost. During the run, you will follow a set path and encounter enemies. Defeating these enemies grants Blessings, stacking buffs to aid your team in clearing the dungeon. Along the way, you may also find rooms to heal your team, swap characters, or acquire Cosmic Fragments and extra buffs.
The ultimate goal is to reach the end of the path and defeat the boss. Successfully completing a Simulated Universe run in Honkai: Star Rail rewards players with points that contribute to their weekly progress and Ability Points. These Ability Points can be spent on the Ability Tree, which provides overarching buffs for all Simulated Universe runs. Occasionally, players will earn Herta’s Bonds, a currency that can be spent at Herta’s Store to purchase
