Why evolve Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Main Info

Charcadet is one of the most well-known Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Depending on the edition you bought, this in Pokémon can take one of two alternative forms.

You can find Ceruledge, a Fire/Ghost-type, and Armarouge, a Fire/Psychic-type, in Scarlet and Violet, respectively. The following information will help you decide when to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge or Armarouge in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

  • Ceruledge, a Fire/Ghost-type in Scarlet
  • Armarouge, a Fire/Psychic-type, in Violet

Evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge/Armarouge

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you should evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge or Armarouge whenever you see fit. It doesn’t matter if you evolve Charcadet at a lower level because both evolutions, regardless of typing, learn the same moves up to level 32 and give you a stronger Pokémon. Since you can relearn Mystical Fire, a potent fire move that is superior to all other fire moves learned until you reach Lava Plume, if you have Violet, it is preferable to evolve Charcadet as quickly as possible.

Waiting until level 32 is an option as Charcadet is no longer learning new moves. These are the maneuvers that Ceruledge/Armarouge and Charcadet learn.

  • 8 Pokemon Level 8 – Clear Smog
  • 12 Pokemon Level 12 – Fire Spin
  • 16 Pokemon Level 16 – Will-O-Wisp
  • 20 Pokemon Level 20 – Nightshade
  • 24 Pokemon Level 24 – Flame Charge
  • 28 Pokemon Level 28 – Incinerate
  • 32 Pokemon Level 32 – Lava Plume

Therefore, you can develop them whenever you see fit to obtain that stronger Pokémon if you have the necessary Bronzor Fragments or Sinistea Chips to obtain the Auspicious and Malicious Armor.
