Niantic, those responsible for successes such as Pokémon GO, confirm their next project: MARVEL World of Heroes. La Casa de las Ideas will bring its universe of superheroes to augmented reality from your own mobile device. Its global release is scheduled for sometime in 2023.

Few details have been shared about the game, except that it will follow in the wake of the formula that has catapulted Niantic to fame. Players will don the superhero cape to collaborate with other players and Marvel franchise allies against “super villains and interdimensional threats.” They talk about the big approach as a “social gaming experience”, something that does not come as a surprise to us.
