General map updates

The Pokémon GO map will be visually changed to more accurately reflect the real world and how much has changed since the last update. After the next update, you may notice some changes to the local map compared to previous years, such as the removal of some unused roads or the appearance of new buildings.

Soon more and more Pokémon will appear in different places. In denser areas, this means you’ll see the same number of Pokémon, but more
