Going Medieval Best Mods – Character Edit

With this patch, you can change several character attributes by rolling the mouse cursor over UI elements and, in some situations, using a modifier key. Using the bottom right panels in-game and while creating a new environment, it now functions completely. Currently, this mod allows you to alter the following while cursoring over the relevant element:

Going Medieval Best Mods – Developer Tools Mod

The in-game developer tools are enabled by this mod, giving you the ability to create workers and objects, change worker status, and other things. A button at the top of the screen and the adjustable hotkey (default: backtick) can both be used to access the tools. In the configuration file, the button can be disabled.

This mod adds three extra map sizes to the selection menu when starting a new game:

  • Small Size – roughly half the size of the default map

Going Medieval Best Mods – Stack Size Increases Mod

With the exception of armor and heavy weapons, I changed the resources.json file to raise the stack sizes of most things. I have no idea if this will cause any problems, but so far it seems to be working for me. Several objects, like the berries, carrots, sticks, and other minor goods, had their weights reduced as well. More of them should now be able to be brought to a pile by workers. Use a text editor to modify resources.json if you wish to make changes to them yourself.

To put in this mod: Copy your resources.json file into the original directory after making a backup of it.

Going Medieval Best Mods – Nerfuchets Mod

Don’t you feel trebuchets annoying? Try this and focus to build your fort!

Here are some variations. Take what you prefer.

  • No ground break – Trebuchets cannot break ground.
  • Half damage – Projectiles damage halved and won’t break ground.
  • One damage – Projectiles deal only 1 damage and won’t break ground.
  • Disable –  Trebuchets are completely disabled and no one can use it. (even your villager!)

Going Medieval Best Mods – Increased Stack size and more

To avoid the overflow values that the previous version produced, the mod was rebuilt to have 2x, 3x, or 4x stack size in one file; it SHOULD now work properly normally.

That was brought on by high stack sizes prior to settlers beginning to divide the goods into smaller sections. That actually occurred after a significant influx of goods were mined, felled, or exchanged. To avoid achieving extremely large stack sizes, the silver and gold piles were left unattended. (The safe line would be close to 999, but I’m not going to risk it. You can modify them as you see fit.

The medieval society in the world of Going Medieval is ruled by rods. El 95% de la población mundial ha muerto a finales del siglo XIV due to an uncontrollable plague. The land has been reclaimed by nature after the disease.

Over time, supersurvivors emerge from among society’s outcasts. You must now lead one of those groups. Create a safe haven for them and their guardians in the classless, borderless era that has followed the catastrophe.

Create, build, and expand your dwelling, from a small made-of-wood hut to a massive stone castle. You may create the ideal balance with the intuitive 3D terrain tools, from ethereal underground caverns to massively powerful ones.
