Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Main Quest

New Home

1. Go to basement > Learn about crafting and survival
2. Go upstairs > Talk to Rachel > Go downstairs
3. Leave, go to the bridge (south), and after crossing the bridge examine the map > Leave the area (west=
4. Recreation Center > Talk to the troublemaker > go south & outside > go back, save Rachel and go to sleep

Restoring power

1. Talk to Rachel & Leslie, exhaust all dialogues > Party up with Rachel and explore the camp > Leave home base (cross the bridge) & look the map
2. Summer camp area (look the map) > keep exploring and avoid the zombies
3. Recreation Center: Kill all the zombies > Examine the video game console (TV) to unlock the gallery room > Explore the area and hit all the salvage points you can (but don’t go to the south east corner building)
4. Home Base > Basement > Craft a fishing rod & ammo (you’ll need at least 8 bullets)
5. Go to the stream next to the boy’s cabin and start fishing until your rod breaks
6. Now go to the south east corner building, kill all the zombies and rescue the survivor (Caroline)
7. Kitchen: talk to leslie, eat dinner and exhaust all dialoges until the power goes out > craft a flashlight, party up with Caroline and go to the power plant (north west area of the campsite)
8. Elevator (east side of the room), leave it and go east > enter the north door > examine the files in the computer (password) and upgrade the security level > leave and go east until the end, then go south and enter the room (Z-cola) > leave and go west > enter the room south of the computer room > keep going south (kill the electric zombie) > kill next room’s zombie and examine the computer at the end, read the documents (password) and upgrade the security level (level 3) > go back to the main area, use the door to the south and enter the room with panels > turn on the power and leave the power plant

Seeds of Resolve

(Requirement = Natasha’s walkthrough step 4)

1. Talk to Natasha, get or craft a Shovel > party up with Natasha and go to the Lakeview section > then to the north east section of the area > find the Camp Zomi botanical garden, Natasha will remove the bush
2. Garden: head east and enter the shack > examine the sparkling item & pick up the brute club > Kill the zombie and examine the picture  (location of the key) > get the key and enter the greenhouse
3. Natasha: Turn all the valves > Leave the greenhouse (north exit) > SAVE and examine the plant monster
4. Plant monster: Shoot all the red flower minions first > Damage the boss x3 times (ammo will spawn in the lower right corner) > after the cut scene grab the z-cola and also the Herbology notes

The Final Battle

(Requirement = Complete Talia’s Quest, also get enough L*st energy – Talia will tell you if it’s enough)

1. Town Hall: Exit to the north and keep going until you find a barrier > Cross it if you have enough ammo & recovery items
2. Wolves fight: Just don’t fight them in rage mode
3. Serena’s fight: Attack the real one (purple aura), when she controls you simply dodge her attacks and attack the real Serena x3 times

A Dark Secret

• Power plant: after the credits go down to the 2nd floor of the power plant, all the way east until the double doors > take the elevator down > reach the room with a computer, but go to the window (z-choice)
• Old hotel room: Get or craft a Metal cutting saw > go to Old town (south of the weird lodge) > cut the fence and enter the shack > kill the zombie and get the hotel lodge key > go upstairs and east > enter the room and find Ann’s data (on the table) > Return to Ann
• Next day: downstairs (Call from Ann) > Go back to the cave where you fought Serena > After the cut scenes enter the rift and begin the Goddess Trial (make it through the maze without being spotted) > Talk to the character in the Locked cabin of Lakeview area > Repeat the goddess trials two more times and talk again with the character in the locked cabin

Party Bonus: Scrap Metal, also Pistol Ammo

1. Morning: Talk to Rachel > Go to the recreation center with her > open the silver handled door > Examine the hole
2. Midday: Talk to Rachel > Wait 1 day
3. Morning: Talk to Rachel > Go to your room at night (NOT midnight)
4. Morning: Talk to Rachel > Basement: craft a metal cutting saw > use the metal cutting saw on the hole of the wall of your room
5. Night: Use the hole
6. Morning: Talk to Rachel > Get the magazine from the girl’s cabin > if it’s locked craft a shovel and examine the rocks near the Girl’s cabin to find the key > give the magazine to Rachel
7. Complete Restoring Power Quest > Talk to Rachel > Go to the Welcome center with Rachel > SAVE and enter > Boss fight: Activate the light switch to damage the boss & you will find ammo at the top of the room
8. Home base: Talk to Rachel > Evening: Go to her room
9. Scenes unlocked: Holes (bedroom & recreation center, also dinner: tease Rachel)
10. (Requires =  complete Natasha’s questline) Go to the basement
11. Ask to sleep with Rachel (night)
12. After step 11 offer some wine to Rachel during dinner > night: sleep with her
13. (Requires =  complete Leslie’s questline) Go upstairs
14. (Requires = complete Lesliel & Caroline’s questline, also the previous step & the cardio x3 scene) Go upstairs

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Caroline

Party Bonus: Medicinal Herb, also Scrap Wood

1. Talk to Caroline: Kill the zombie blocking the door to caroline’s cabin, kill the rest, rescue & talk to Caroline
2. Home base: Talk and party up with Caroline, get hit by a zombie and return home base
3. Home base: Talk and party up with Caroline, get hit by a zombie and return home base (Same as step 2)
4. Base: Talk and party up with Caroline, get hit by a zombie (but now twice) and return home base
5. Complete Restoring Power Quest > Talk to Caroline > SAVE and go with her to Caroline’s cabin (find the lingerie in the same room you rescued her) > Boss fight: Just shoot & run (ammo spawns near entrance)
6. Home base: Talk to Caroline > Medical examination
7. Meet her and have another medical examination
8. Talk to Caroline again > SAVE and go with her to the Welcome center > Examine the bookcase (library) to unlock a secret passage (take the crafting guide) > Follow the path until you enter a room where you have to defeat Johnny again (same strategy) Examine the computer > Go to the home base
9. Meet Caroline > Craft a bedroom construction and upgrade her room > Talk to Caroline at night
10. After step 9 offer some wine to Rachel during dinner > night: talk to her
11. Go with Caroline to her cabin again > examine the med kit to receive the clue for the locked box
12. (Requires = complete Leslie & Rachel’s questline, also the previous step & the cardio x3 scene) Go upstairs

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Natasha

Party Bonus: Medicinal Herb, also Food (Vegetable)

1. Campsite: Enter the cabin from the north > Give them x1 food (vegetables) to get x2 water
2. Next day: same, but now give them x3 scrap wood to get x3 scrap metal.
3. Next day: give natasha x3 medicinal herbs to get x1 electric fuse
4. Home base (next day) Natasha will join you
5. Complete the Seeds of Resolve quest > Talk to Natasha > Get the crafting guide (Caroline’s walkthrough step 8) > Craft the bedroom construction and upgrade Natasha’s room > Talk to Natasha at night
6. Next day: talk to Natasha > Craft x3 Antidote and go with natasha to Old town
7. Old Town: go to the Strange Cabin (bush blocking the stairs) > examine the scavenge point to get the car key > Exit and go east > Go to the car
8. (Requires = complete Rachel’s questline) go to the basement
9. (Requires = Professor Cherry step 2) Talk to Natasha > Go to the Strange Cabin with Natasha again, but now examine the bush
10. Downstairs > Room to the east > Examine computer & read the documents to get the Lab’s password > Pick the serum > give it to professor Cherry ( don’t get hit, and take the southern exit from Old Town as it is faster to reach the Greenhouse)
11. Give the Serum to Professor Cherry > Talk to her in her human form while you are partied up with Natasha
12. Complete the Final Battle quest > Go to the shack in the Lakeview area with Natasha > Talk to Serena

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Ashley

Party Bonus: Crossbow Ammo, also

1. Complete the Restore power quest > Craft a Fishing rod and go to the pool room building (Lake view) > fish the boiler room key > unlock the locked door and release Ashley
2. Talk to Ashley > Go with her to the pool
3. Night: Talk to Ashley in her room
4. Morning: Talk to Ashley
5. Evening: Sit down and eat diner > Check under the table
6. Night: Talk to Ashley (her room) > Get the crafting guide (Caroline’s walkthrough step 8) > craft the Bedroom Construction and upgrade her room > Talk to her again
7. Party up with Ashley and examine the boat (lakeview area) > fix it with x4 scrap wood > Travel to the Island (but SAVE before) > find the lucky whistle (center of the island) > Survive 5 waves of zombies protecting Ashley > Home base
8. Next day party up with Ashley and have another swiming lesson
9. Ask Ashley to go under the table during dinner (as long as you ask her before dinner)
10. Night: Visit Ashley > Craft Air conditioner & upgrade her room > visit her again

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Talia

Party Bonus: Scrap Metal, also Scrap Rubber

1. Complete Seeds of Resolve quest > Craft Antidote and unlock access to Old Town > Go to the Neat cabin (south from north entrance) > Clear the area > Unlock Talia’s room > Home base
2. Talk to Talia > Get the crafting guide (Caroline’s walkthrough step 8) > craft the Bedroom Construction and upgrade her room > Talk to her again
3. Next day: Talk to Talia > go to the Welcome center > examine the salvage point to get the Draconian Spell book > Home base: Talk to Talia again
4. Night: Talk to Talia > Choose the option story
5. Next day: Talk to Talia > Party up with her and go to the Town Hall (barrier building) in Old Town > Examine the black void (right side) > Leave the Town hall from the south end
6. Talk to Talia > Craft and install Air conditioning unit > get wine > talk to her again at night
7. Middday: Talk to Talia

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Professor Cherry

Party Bonus: Medicinal Herb, also Nightshade Berries

1. Complete Seeds of Resolve quest > Enter the cave (right side of the boss room) and turn the valve to remove the yellow plant
2. Enter her office, read her notes on the computer and leave
3. Complete Natasha serum quest (Natasha walkthrough step 10)
4. Give the Serum to Professor Cherry > Talk to her in her human form while you are partied up with Natasha

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Jessie

Party Bonus: Shotgun Ammo, also Scrap Metal

1. Complete Seeds of Resolve quest > craft an Antidote and go to the Lakeview area and locate the infected roots > enter Jessie’s camp (next to the sign with tent) > examine the backpack east of the workbench (SAVE before choice) > Trade with Jessie for 5 of her items, so you can party up with her
2. Talk to Jessie > Go to the Freezer (cafeteria) > hit the fuse box (top left of the room) with the brute club > Clear the zombies, find hidden resources and leave the freezer
3. Next day: Jessie’s camp > clear the zombies
4. Talk to Jessie > choose Medicine

Zombies Retreat Guide & Walkthrough – Clara

(Don’t start this route until you have completed Natasha’s & Leslie’s routes)

Party Bonus: None

1. Jessie’s camp > enter Clara’s tent and talk to her > Get the crafting guide (Caroline’s walkthrough step 8) > craft the Bedroom Construction and upgrade her room > Talk to her again
2. Take her to the car in Old Town
3. Go with Clara to the Private Campsite
4. Take Clara to the Recreation Center > Bathroom > interact with nthe hole
5. Go with Clara back to Jessie’s camp > remove her from the party > talk to Clara again
6. Night: Talk to Clara in her tent
