Although you have probably already found seaweed on the ground, there is only one valid method to farm, Fishing. And the truth is that there are a couple of tips that you are interested in knowing, because they are not caught the same as fish

Finding seaweed on the ground

We include it here, but it is not a valid farming method if you need large amounts, since spawn spots do not regenerate. Of course, if you see Seaweed anywhere, do not stop collecting it, of course. Fishing

This is the best method to farm seaweed and we are going to give you a couple of tips to optimize your fishing. It might seem obvious, the algae are in the water, not on dry land. What is not so obvious is how to fish seaweed, even if you have already fished some without knowing how. Tips:

• Location: The location does not matter, there is seaweed in all bodies of water. Although the logical thing would be to think that there is more in the sea and near the beach, there are also rivers and lakes
• Avoid Ripples: If you cast your rod into the ripples (bubbles) you will never catch seaweed, anywhere else with water you will. Recommendation: When you catch a seaweed, repeat in the same place until you get the amount you want. You may catch some fish too, but it doesn’t matter
• Partner with Fishing Bonus: Whenever you go fishing, seaweed or anything else, take a partner who has a fishing bonus, you will multiply the number of seaweed you take out of the water. In case you did not know, you can give a fishing bonus to any villager, as long as you have reached a minimum of friendship points.

Although you will need seaweed for several recipes, if you got here it is because you need fiber and rope. But now that you know how to get seaweed, you are missing the easy part. Go to the crafting table, and you will get x5 fiber for every x1 seaweed, then for every x8 fiber you will get x1 rope. If for example you want x10 rope, you will need x80 fiber, and for that you will need x16 Seaweed
