Sustainability Week event Pokemon Go. Event which Niantic promotes awareness to make our world a more sustainable place, Oranguru will debut and other Pokémon will appear for the first time in Shiny.

Alola Season

Sustainability Week event Pokemon Go – Intro

Event: Sustainability Week, will start on April 20 (10:00 local time) until April 25, which will end at (20:00 local time).

A special event where all Pokemon trainers are directly linked and can collaborate to make our planet more sustainable. The goal is for each trainer to cover a distance of 5 km during Stufful Community Day. For each trainer that covers that distance, Niantic will plant a tree (up to 100,000), so it’s a reason to walk 5 km or even more (if possible). The planet will thank you.

Pokemon debuts

The main Pokemon which will make their debut in this event are:

Collection Challenge

Trainers who want to earn an Elite Collector medal and earn a Mossy Lure Module and 15 Super Balls, will have 5 days to complete this challenge.

Event bonuses

• x2 XP spinning a PokéStop for the first time

Complete Timed Research during Community Day

Saturday, April 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (local time)

It will consist of several tasks, in each one you will have to travel only 1 km, unlock the task and you will have an encounter with Cherubi, remember may be shiny.

Field Research Task

By completing certain tasks you can find the following Pokemon:

• Chespin
• Phantump
• Mega-Venusaur Energy
• Mega-Abomasnow Energy

Shop & Mossy Lure Modules

We can find in the store an event box with a Mossy Lure Module.

Ula’ula Island Special Research

You can get it from April 12, until June 1.

You must complete the special investigations before the “Ula-Ula Island Special Investigation”, in order to unlock this.

If you finish all Alola Special Research before June 1st, you will unlock an extra Special Research at the end of the season.

Other events in April

Event Season of Alola Pokemon Go. It will start on April 1 (10am local time) it will last 3 months (almost the whole spring) will end on June 1 (10am local time).

April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 > This day of jokes will be on Friday, April 1, and a mysterious event will occur, not yet revealed.

All-Hands Spring into Spring > Team Rocket is once again the protagonist, find out what happens to them! From Sunday, April 3, to Thursday, April 7. Be alert!

Spring into Spring > This spring event will start on Tuesday, April 12, to Monday, April 18, 2022, it will be a spring-themed event dedicated to the most spring Pokemon. To know moew, click here.

Sustainability Week > The sustainability of the planet and the environment will be the main themes in this event that will be held from Wednesday, April 20, to Monday, April 25. A very special Pokemon related to this sustainable theme will debut and it’s from the Alola region.

May Events

Community Day > Saturday, May 21 will be from Alolan Geodude will be appearing in the wild more often! To find out all the information about the Alolan Geodude Community Day, click here.

Community Day Classic > This event is not yet scheduled for the month of May.

A mega moment > All Pokemon that can Mega Evolve will appear in the wild more frequently until Saturday, May 1, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Mega-Kangaskhan will have a Mega Raid Day on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time.

Pokémon Air Adventures > From Tuesday, May 3, until Sunday, May 8. The first Legendary Pokemon that we can mega evolve, will be:

• Mega-Latias
• Mega-Latios

Water Festival > From Thursday, May 12, to Friday, May 20. We will find in Pokemon Go a substantial increase in Water-type Pokémon.
