In Forspoken, you will encounter several boss battles on Athea. For each of them, your character Frey will need to use a different magic spell. Altered Llingoceros is one of the most difficult enemies you’ll face. This world boss can be found wandering around the fields of Cipal, directly north of the Eastern Cipal Refuge. How To Defeat Altered Llingoceros In Forspoken
If you want to defeat the Altered Llingoceros in Forspoken, you must avoid its attack that has a flashing ‘X’ symbol on it. Before pounding the ground, the mutant takes a short leap. It is pointless to use your Magic Parkour. Dodging allows you to get as far away from the impact radius as possible.
The Altered Llingoceros looks like an Elk. It is, however, a massively mutated version of it. You will have a difficult time defeating the Llingoceros because it is immune to Frey’s purple magic. Llingoceros responds best to fire magic. As a result, we recommend approaching this battle only after defeating the boss in Chapter 5 – Tanta Sila.
While attempting to land attacks on Altered Llingoceros, your task will be cut short. It will keep leaping in the air and changing positions for the majority of the fight. If you land a good blow, the Altered Llingoceros will fall to the ground and take some time to get back up on its feet. This is your best chance to inflict additional damage. Continue to use the Blast Slice spell and you’ll be able to defeat Llingoceros in no time.
